Lane Estates ("we," "our," or "us") is a real estate client experience platform operated by Lane Estates Realty. This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, and protect information when you use the Lane Estates mobile application ("the App") and our website at laneestatesrealty.com.
By using Lane Estates, you agree to the practices described in this policy. If you do not agree, please discontinue use of the App.
Information We Collect
Information you provide directly:
- Account details: name, email address, phone number, and password
- Profile information: your role (Buyer, Seller, or Investor) and real estate agent license number (for agents)
- Documents you upload as part of your transaction (e.g., pre-approval letters, identification)
- Messages, notes, and task updates entered within the App
Information collected automatically:
- Device identifiers used to deliver push notifications
- App usage activity such as which screens are viewed and actions completed
- IP address and device type for security and session management
Information from third parties:
- If you sign in with Apple, we receive a unique identifier and, at your option, your name and email address from Apple
- Property listing data retrieved from the Bridge Interactive MLS API (Miami REALTORS® dataset) is displayed in the App but not stored on your personal profile
How We Use Your Information
- To create and maintain your account
- To display your transaction journey, action items, and property listings
- To enable agents to manage their clients and communicate deal progress
- To send push notifications about updates to your transaction
- To process agent subscription payments through Apple's App Store
- To improve the App and troubleshoot technical issues
- To comply with legal obligations
We do not sell your personal information to third parties. We do not use your data to serve advertising.
Data Storage & Security
Lane Estates uses Supabase to store user data. Supabase is a SOC 2 Type II compliant platform that stores data in secure, encrypted databases. Row-level security policies ensure that each user can only access data they are authorized to view.
All data transmitted between the App and our servers is encrypted in transit using HTTPS/TLS. Documents you upload are stored in a private, access-controlled storage bucket.
Third-Party Services
Lane Estates integrates with the following third-party services:
- Supabase — authentication, database, and file storage. Supabase Privacy Policy
- Apple — Sign in with Apple authentication, push notification delivery (APNs), and in-app subscription billing. Apple Privacy Policy
- Bridge Interactive / MLS — live property listing and comparable sales data. This service is queried in real time; MLS data is not stored in your account profile.
Each of these providers has its own privacy policy governing their handling of data.
Push Notifications
Lane Estates uses Apple Push Notification service (APNs) to send you updates about your transaction. You can enable or disable notifications at any time in your iPhone's Settings → Notifications → Lane Estates. Disabling notifications does not affect your ability to use the App.
Data Retention
We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. If you request account deletion, we will delete your personal information within 30 days, except where we are required to retain it by law.
To request deletion of your account and data, email support@laneestatesrealty.com with the subject line "Delete My Account."
Children's Privacy
Lane Estates is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.
Your Rights
Depending on your location, you may have the right to access, correct, or delete personal information we hold about you. To exercise any of these rights, contact us at support@laneestatesrealty.com.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of Lane Estates after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
